so i just came back from singapore yesterday.

i really really like singapore.

that was actually the first time in a looong time since i went back to singapore.

so this time i got the chance to take in all in.

i was extremely bored after dinner. so that's a ctually a curtain made into a tablecloth because the table ginormous.

if you were anticipating the latest episode of pushing daises on tuesday, you would have been disappointed like me. instead of the emo pie maker reviving lives, it was bitchy attention whores.
first of all, when you stop airing a show like pushing daises, a show up to par with pushing daises is expected but sadly this did not happen.

5 Jingga is bad.
it's worse than bad. it's utterly lame.


when the show started i was watching it with an open mind thinking that maybe the director was going in the same direction of the 'kami' director but man was i wrong.

the beginning was ok.


but there was this one scene which pretty much summed up the whole show.
the scene was the one where the new girl walked into the school's hall/gym(whatever it's called) and she saw this guy break dancing amatuerly . so in a desperate act to show off and make a new friend she starts dancing. it was hard to tell whether she was dancing or just moving her hands because the camera man was like all over place.
and to make matters worse, the background music was really really bad.
no kidding. and they would use that same song for every time that the guy started break dancing.

that's the break dancer. i know you were hoping for a buff dude.

she plays the bitchiest cheerleader to the tee. it's hard to believe she's 27.

other parts of the show basically showed cheerleaders bitching about captains, boyfriends and what not. for a show that didn't want to stereotype anak datuks, they did a nice job with stereotyping cheerleaders.

it said i was not chosen but when i went to check it again just to bask in my luckiness, the link for 2009 was not there anymore.

olympics and what not

in the latest episode of project runway, the designers were given the task to design the uniform for the american olympic team for the opening ceremony.

and the winner designed an all white pant suit.

but the very funny thing was they didn't use her design in the end.

if you did watch the parade of athletes,

you would have seen this.

honestly, i find this very bla and not different at all.

if you do take a look at what they wore from previous years, it's about the same. blazers and pants or blazers and skirts.

gosh, and to think ralph lauren designed this.

anyway, i really enjoyed watching the parade of athletes.

this is actually the first year i'm watching it through and through.

but of course the main reason was to see the fashions.

my favourites were greece, poland and france.

and the fugliest was definitely australia.

i must say malaysia played the malay card by wearing baju kurung and baju melayu...shocking!

hhaha. but i do salute them for trying a different shade of yellow.

it looks ten times better than the dull yellow that they wore from previous years.

the new season of project runway has started and of course i have watched every episode so far.
although i feel that the designers this season are not as fierce as the past season designers, it is still so so much fun to watch.

love her hair. she kinda reminds me of katy perry.


but sadly i can only watch one out of five parts of the show
because the damn youtube is being a pain.
so i'm like an idiot waiting in suspense.

haha anyway, there actually this one designer who i thought was dead gorgeous
but he got auf'd =( i was like practically in shock for about 46 seconds. no kidding.

good bad and the ugly

while i'm waiting for the 30 rock video to load, i shall blog since it has been a while.
well a lot has happened. actually it depends how you define "a lot".
anyway, my spm time table has arrived and the good news is that my exams start on the 12th and ends on the 27th of november.
how cool is that.
basically i only have seven days of exams. score! haha
but unfortunately for the art students, they finish i think around mid december.
and the best news of all...my last paper is est.
for the bad news, my trials are on the 26th of august.
and the Program Khidmat Negara results are coming out very soon.
damn. i have a feeling i'll chosen.
