vindication is an awesome word.

so as promised the pictures are here :)
i went to suraj's new place the other day to be convinced about how near his place is to sue vern's haha..which is why there is some sort of "SS2 gang"
yes i feel intimidated. there should be a damansara jaya gang!

anyway, i didn't bring my camera knowing suraj's camera is nicer to play with which is why i had to wait for the pictures to be sent to me. however, thanks to p1 wimax, i took the photos personally.

the view. you can see tropicana city mall aka tcm from his balcony but it's not in the picture exactly. if you squint you can see that flyover thing that is joined with tcm.

i love the door. it's so adorable.

the shades remind me of being in a hotel room. i don't know why.

there's something about transparent tables that make me feel weird. i can see my thighs as i eat.

man at work.

man at work from different angle. haha. the way he's holding that knife is scary.

oh funny story behind this picture. well, not the picture. the pop corn. let's start with..i've always wanted to try the microwave popcorn so we went to the supermarket to get it. as i was looking for it, suraj was like "we don't have a microwave" then i was like "how can you live without a microwave?" yea we ended up buying that one which is the traditional one..you know as in putting in the pan on fire. yea.
so when we went back to his place, lo and behold there was a microwave. yay.

end product.

end product being consumed.

i'm suppose to post some pictures as in actual pictures taken by me and not from the internet...hehe
yea anyway, i don't have them with me.
soo..this is sufficiently awkward.

i wish i was related to sal masekela, just so you know.

[gasp] Twist!

i miss the cartoon channels or maybe i just miss watching the 'classic' cartoons like rugrats.
hence, if you tell me about some new cartoon i would not understand you at all.
lynette lee lyn leq reminded me of cartoons the other day which led me to start singing the chorus of the chip and dale rescue rangers theme song which led to her laughing at me for remembering the song. it was catchy ok!

if you don't remember the song, this might refresh your memory :)

so...

i wish popcorn was actually that big. i don't have to worry the americans would come up with super-sized popcorn anytime now.

cartoon honey looks better than honey. pooh's dreams are woozle-free!

kitty.

the humans are dead. yes they are dead

i have come to a conclusion that the only reason 'they' are bringing in so many international acts this year is to make up for not having sunburst this year :(
come on, kelly clarkson?? that's the best you could come up with?
it's bad enough that i have to hear to scream on the radio on normal days..now i have to hear her scream and shout twice as much since she confirmed her concert here.
i know she's the first american idol so stop repeating it. she probably only agreed to have a concert here because she's probably doing really badly in amedica.

oh yes, twice in two weeks i was mistaken for a 15/16 year old. yay?
what do i have to do to look my age? wear tons of concealer and do that amy winehouse eye makeup thing?
you should see their faces when i tell them i'll be 19 in two months.
the usual response is "really? i thought you were 15 or something. your mother looks young anyway" and my response is usually "i get that a lot" unless i'm in a bad mood.
i blame my height.

"I know you are, but what am i"

“This is my best friend Dionne. We’re friends because we both know what it’s like to have people be jealous of us, and we’re both named after famous singers who now do infomercials.”

Dionne: So, what do you think?

Cher: Been shopping with Dr. Seuss?

Dionne: Well at least I wouldn’t skin a collie for my bookbag!

I remember watching this movie for the first time. i was probably 5 (?) it was in my cousin's house with all the older cousins and i thought it was some detective show..you know.."clueless"
yea i didn't enjoy that time. many years later i was like "OOOOHHHH"

"Something that's fake and on the internet? I need to go to wikipedia to understand what i'm feeling"

this is the pms talking.
i was watching this Oprah Winfrey episode a few weeks ago and it was about how women who were often complimented on their intelligence are more likely to face aging better compared to women who were only complimented on their outer beauty. It was also about how women who are prettier then to get things their way most of the time of not always.

Both the statements are true i suppose. i shall refer to this situation between these two friends of mine. I will not put their real names because i'm not sure that they read my blog and also change the story a little bit. no drama :) oh yes, this information is from a very very reliable source.

ok so both my friends Elaine and Jane are pretty and slim. also, both elaine and jane tend to attract the attention of guys whenever they go out or are in college. They also get tons of compliments on there profile pictures on facebook not to forget guys who write on their wall saying their pretty. However, of late there has been a little friction between the two girls. Whenever, they are..let's say the cafeteria, one would get jealous and bitter if the other got more attention from a guy(s).
Also, Elaine would wear earrings more than usual because some guy told her she was cute and give her free popcorn if she were to go to the movies. Of course, Jane is not happy about this.

So i think it is safe(?) to say that when these two girls became older, they would have problems dealing with aging.i mean i'm not saying that i have the highest self esteem but they are so used to people complimenting them all the time that i think if they walk pass a guy and he didn't look at her, it would be like the end of the world.
it's just really sad that they rely on people to compliment them to be happy about themselves.

it may sound like i'm bitter but i'm really not. they can have all the attention they want. i think i'm too used to people especially guys not telling me i look pretty that if someone complimented me, i would think they're being sarcastic and i would feel really awkward. fo sho.

"You fell and you didn't tell me...selfish!"

i'm lazy to blog.
my brain feels like mush. mush is a real word. there's no squiggly red line. yay

that's what i would say after i beat someone up. it would be even better if i had that as my phone wallpaper so i can just shove it in his/her face. awesome.

yea. i would like to know the answer to that.

this picture made me smile. looks like a fluffy pillow. a yummy chocolaty fluffy pillow. why isn't there a recipe for this?

i like number 3.

Bacon is a little hug from God

hungryyyyy. hence, i will make you hungry as well.

loaded with food colouring obviously. very nice, how much?

umm yea. :B

i don't really know what's going on with the food. it looks like bread covered with icing. i like the picture nevertheless..and the teacup.

i want to get those and just stare at them.

bye mall lady

i swear this is funniest song i've ever heard. i lol-ed for 3 minutes straight.

lynette, you are very pure so don't watch.

transparent chairs are not safe

i feel bad that i did not visit niven in midvalley today :( i can't go out laaaa.
although he was kind of hesitant about inviting me knowing that i will take many pictures of him in his sandwich board, he was looking forward to see me which explains why i feel so crappy.
we've been friends for more than 2 years and i've yet to see him in action and by action i mean work. he tends to make all his little part-time jobs sound very interesting..so interesting that i actually want to get a job.
he has had so many odd jobs that i can't even remember many of them.
oh yes, once he was working at a smoothie/drink/ice drink thing shop and he saw someone who looked like me and he hid. HE HID. yea, apparently i give off this vibe that i look down on people's part time jobs. i don't even think i have to authority to do that since i've not worked a day in my life.
but of course, this job takes the cake for the most random. giving out balloons in a sandwich board? really niven? that's the best job you could find?
he probably needs the money to pay for his extra-curricular activities in brickfields. i kid i kid.

so niven, i promise i'll visit you whenever you get your next odd job..whatever it is... preferably f&b. :)

Why can't Edward Cullen be a normal vampire so i can i kill him with a stake.

i saw someone blogging in the college library the other day. very odd.
why would someone blog somewhere where everyone can see what you're typing be it personal or not personal
i still can't get it out of my mind. i mean people who walk in can see it, people who walk out can see it.
if you were wondering, NO I DID NOT READ WHAT SHE WROTE.
i did not want to get in the middle of whatever she was "feeling" at that moment considering she was intensely looking into the computer screen.
i would never find myself in her position, literally. even if i had to use the computer lab to blog, i would go the very very dark corner and blog so no one can stare/squint to see what i'm typing.
actually, i do that sometimes...the staring not the dark corner blogging. once i watched an episode of 'my wife and kids' just by sitting behind a guy. oh yes, and because he set the volume to probably 100% i could hear it as well :)
positive externality indeed :D

"I don't drink hot liquids of any kind. That's the Devil's temperature!"

I'm very embarrassed to say that i've watched the whole first season of jersey shore.
yes, i enjoy reality tv shows. you name the show, i've probably seen it.
quite interesting la if you enjoy A LOT drama. this show is definitely not scripted. my ears are still ringing from all the censoring. it seems like they are incapable of not swearing in each sentence, seriously.
i cringed a lot too.
although it was quite amusing, i felt the show was very stereotypical towards the Italian Americans. NOT all Italian Americans tan all day, go clubbing every night and wear really tacky clothes (ed hardy..i kid i kid).
one credit i will give is that the guys are very buff. drool. just don't look from the neck up :D

spandex is not a joke

i'm mildly bored so i uploaded a few random pictures.
looking at pictures of cupcakes is making me want to stuff my face with them although i'm not crazy over cupcakes. they're nicer to look at than to eat.
oh yes, random idea : cupcakes should actually be in teacups. :D that would be really hard to sell unless you use styrofoam cups which is just fugly. yea anyway,

I should not be surprised that there is a bottle of coca cola on his desk..and it's more than half empty. less than half full? no, no more than half empty sounds better.

he always does this. i would probably have an album full of pictures of him doing stupid faces and it would be called " he looks familiar". Hold on while i jot that down.

fake smiles are the best kind

only eating seafood, vegetables and fruits has taken a toll on me.
it is super hard to eat in college with food restrictions i've come to realise. it is also super hard to not stare at someone eating beef burger or anything with poultry or beef in it. man, i miss those days of eating whatever i want. i can't imagine being a vegetarian. how do you do it chulan?
however, i will not complain. lent is lent.

moving on, i can't really emphasise enough how much i enjoy the chili that comes with pan mee. it's not too sweet, it's crushed and it's spicy. actually, anything spicy is awesome.
hence, let me tell you on first hand experience, too much of a good thing is never good. i had a terrible stomach upset because i could not pass up on two packets of chili. did i learn my lesson? no.
IT'S A GOOD THING I DIDN'T GO FOR THE MOVIE
yea, not a good day today.

this is why Americans are obese. guys, you just need to not deep-fry everything. seriously.
now i'm hungry.

Double bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter deep fried and served with two sides of chipotle mayo.

French fries and cheese curd wrapped in a spring roll served with brown gravy dipping sauce.

if i could buy these books, i would know exactly who to give them to.

book 1: too easy..."so what if i come late" -Previn

book 2: ze wen

book 3: those who play left 4 dead.

book 4: everyone because you never know when a ninja handbook could come in handy.

was i the only one who "lol-ed" reading the titles?

just like the origins of spiral staircases, you are mysterious.

there's a reason why men should listen to women.
if we ordered 40 something pieces instead of 50 something pieces, we(actually me more than him) would not have felt like passing out/puking after finishing it.
suraj's actual words on the way back: "i don't feel full anymore" and a couple of hours later " i'm a bit hungry" i swear you have digestion of an alien.

you see that fish thing next to the salmon, it tasted baaad.

yea we did not eat that

pvc my dreams, pretty please

remember "bills, bills, bills"?
yea i've been thinking about that song a lot considering what has been going on around me.
not the song but the lyrics to the song that is.

why do some girls allow themselves to be the damsel in distress?
we have been striving for equality for ages and it all goes to waste when there is still this perception that men are more superior..
i mean isn't the basic reason why we go to school is to get an education, be successful and buy your own stuff with your own money. it's just really pathetic and sad that some women just want to "settle down" and it doesn't help that this idea of women is still accepted.

i really really irritates me to no end to hear stories of my cousins or friends who just depend on their boyfriends to buy for them things. WHY?! if you want a car, save up money, get a part time job until you can afford a 3rd hand car for all i care.

yea we all would want to marry a billionaire husband but that doesn't mean you have to throw your future away. we were given rights as women and we should enjoy these rights.
indeed i would love an original chanel bag but for now i'll just buy a fake one from petaling street or draw the chanel logo on a random bag cause i'm only a student plus no one would know the difference anyway.

mes loisirs, vos loisirs

give people a giant cat with a mechanic hand and watch the ching chongs flock to it with their cameras. sigh, you people make my day.
actually, give them any kind of mannequin or statue or whatever, and flashes will be going off like crazy.

yea, anyway..
no i did not go out for valentine's. i stick to my beliefs.
so for those of you who thought suraj is so heartless (ironic) for not getting me any roses from college or in general (who knew you guys cared so much. awww..) , then you will be glad to hear that he got me a little somethin somethin.

voila! mon cadeau de Suraj. n'est-il pas un tel trésor?

me is happy can't you tell?

Anything that is unrelated to elephants is irrelephant

gosh, i really need to like let out all this frustration.
i know i am going to regret this sometime in the not so distant future. yea i'm still irritated about sunday. so what? i hold grudges ok which i think is quite common among women to hold grudges longer than men or so i've heard. i'll check it out and let you know :)

how many men does it take to buy a small cake? 2 and a half.

...and economists say that men are more reliable than women.
so, with this point in mind, i could not help but flashback to sunday.
well, if men were more reliable, they would not do everything at the last minute. yes, EVERYTHING was done at the last minute. cake, sparkling wine and candles. they did not even plan where to eat after the surprise. then again, men can't multi-task.

how long does it take to get the cake and candles and to set up? oh maybe about 45 minutes.

how long does it take 3 guys to answer one question? 25 minutes (until 1 utama was closed)

the best question: how many guys does it take to contribute to waste of human space? one and that is previn.

so it's safe to say that in this case, men are not reliable. thank god amalia was there or not we would not have even eaten.

questions that need to be answered:
1. honestly, why was he invited?
2. why was there even a dress code? *cough*double standard*cough*

inadequate for Photoshop

can anyone explain to me what's so nice about delicious?
was looking through one of my friend's pictures in delicious and they're normal college students. where the hell do you get money to eat there? oh wait, they're from Taylors.
definitely overrated. the last time i went there with my mum, i could not believe the amount my mum had to pay for 2 meals. that amount could feed a family of 5 in mcdonald's or esquire
kitchen.
the air in delicious is snobbish and bordering pretentious. i could feel the judgmental stares coming from the wannabe datin and her daughter from the table next to mine.
so you would have guessed that i promised myself to never walk into that place and even if i do(kicking & screaming), i would do my very best to rip you guys off just like how you rip me off, bitches.
